Forbes names WrestleMania one of the most valuable sports brands worldwide
WWE is pleased to announce that, this week, Forbes named WWE’s pop culture extravaganza, WrestleMania, one of the most valuable sports brands worldwide. WrestleMania is included among such sporting events as the Super Bowl, World Cup and the Olympics. The Forbes ranking consists of the 10 most valuable sports brands in each of four categories: businesses, events, teams and athletes.
Forbes said, “The WrestleMania brand is worth $105 million, placing it eighth among sporting events. In April, WrestleMania 30 broke the record for the Mercedes-Benz Superdome’s highest grossing entertainment event, marking the fifth consecutive year WrestleMania broke the host venue’s single-day revenue record.”
