Wendi Richter's arch-nemesis, WWE Hall of Famer The Fabulous Moolah, cost her the Women's Championship heading into the first-ever WrestleMania. Moolah was in the corner of the champion Leilani Kai, so Richter brought her own back up - recording superstar Cyndi Lauper. The animated Lauper kept Moolah in check, while Richter took care of things in the ring and regained the gold.

After weeks of confrontations with a crazed fan named Tori, the Women's Champion Sable faced her in a match at WrestleMania. Sable and Tori were going back and forth in a competitive match, but the monstrous Nicole Bass got involved and attacked Tori. In the end, Sable was able to successfully defend her Women's Championship and walk away with the gold.

This one was billed as a Cat Fight, and it certainly lived up to its name. The Kat had Mae Young in her corner and Terri had The Fabulous Moolah in hers, while Val Venis was the special referee. Chaos ensued almost immediately, and thanks to help from Moolah, Terri picked up the win. The Kat and Mae Young got the last laugh, though, attacking their foes after the match.

Ivory injured Chyna at the Royal Rumble, but the Ninth Wonder of the World was recovered and ready for revenge at WrestleMania. Ivory gave it her best shot, but Chyna was just too big and too strong. After a series of power moves, Chyna picked up the win to become the new Women's Champion.

Jazz came into WrestleMania X8 as the Women's Champion, but the odds were stacked against her because she didn't even have to be pinned to lose the gold in the Triple Threat Match and Trish Stratus had the homefield advantage in Toronto. Stratus and Lita tried to gang up on Jazz early on, but Jazz's toughness prevailed and she staved off the attack, retaining the Women's Championship.

This match wasn't even on the original WrestleMania XIX card. Stacy Keibler & Torrie Wilson got into an altercation with the Miller Lite Cat Fight Girls backstage, and they decided to solve their issues in the only way possible - with a cat fight! In the end, though, all the ladies put their differences aside and ganged up on an unsuspecting Jonathan Coachman. Then again, maybe that makes him the winner.

For the second year in a row, the Women's Championship was on the line in a Triple Threat Match. Victoria walked in as the Champ, and along with Jazz, targeted Trish Stratus. Even despite interference from Steven Richards and having a target on her back, Trish was able to pin Victoria to secure her record-tying fourth Women's Championship.

Victoria was able to win the Women's Championship on RAW in a Fatal Fourway a couple of months before WrestleMania, but Molly Holly was determined to win it back. She was so confident she would win, that she put her hair on the line in the first ever Hair vs. Title Women's Championship Match at WrestleMania XX. Molly couldn't back up her confident attitude, though, and left Madison Square Garden bald.

The real winners in this one were certainly all of the male fans. Stacy Keibler and Miss Jackie were jealous of Torrie Wilson and Sable's latest Playboy spread, so they decided to mix it up in the ring in the first-ever Playboy Evening Gown Match. Before long all four women were tussling in just their bra and panties, and Torrie and Sable successfully defended their Playboy pride.

Christy Hemme seemed to have everything going for her. She was the 2004 RAW Diva Search winner. She had just graced the cover of Playboy. And now she had an opportunity at Trish's Women's Championship. Despite being trained by Trish's nemesis Lita, Christy was unable to score the victory, and Trish kept her championship reign intact.
