Brock Lesnar vs. Kurt Angle

Both Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar entered World Wrestling Entertainment with superb amateur wrestling backgrounds. With both now competing on the professional level, fans were curious to see which Superstar was superior. At WrestleMania XIX, those fans got the match they wanted. Prior to the match, everybody wanted to know if it would it be Lesnar’s strength and youth that would come out on top, or if it would be Angle’s experience that would produce a win.
After a wide array of suplexes, Angle managed to hook in the ankle lock twice as well as hit the Angle Slam, but Lesnar found a way to escape every time. After a failed attempt at a Shooting Star Press, Lesnar eventually hit an F5 to pick up the win and the WWE Championship in a classic bout.
After the match, Angle handed Lesnar the WWE Championship in a great show of sportsmanship
