Homestretch to the Hall
The atmosphere inside the Fox Theatre tonight is much different than that of Friday. Last night, nearly 5,000 raucous WWE fans, Superstars, Divas, Legends and guests packed "The Fox" for the world premiere of "Stone Cold" Steve Austin's new film The Condemned. Tonight, however, is a night to honor those who have paved the way for the likes of Stone Cold: the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2007.
Last-minute set construction is underway, as the 2007 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony is almost upon us. In moments, Hall of Famers, celebrities and WWE Superstars alike will be on stage to welcome this year's class into the hallowed Hall. Gone is the giant projector screen used to show The Condemned for the first time, replaced with ornate podiums and screens to welcome Dusty Rhodes, Mr. Perfect and their classmates into sports-entertainment immortality. The guests of honor have also begun to arrive, as MLB Hall of Famer Wade Boggs was seen entering the building just moments ago.
Stay tuned to WWE.com tonight for continuous full coverage of the 2007 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. Also, don't forget to log on a 7/6 CT to see the first two hours of the ceremony live right here.
