The Rosemont Horizon, now known as the Allstate Arena, was built in 1979.

The Allstate Arena is the home of the DePaul Blue Demons and the Chicago Wolves of the International Hockey League and the Chicago Rush of the Arena Football League.

The Rosemont Horizon played host to WWE's first-ever pay-per-view, the Wrestling Classic. The Wrestling Classic was a King of the Ring type tournament, which was won by Hall of Famer Junkyard Dog. It also hosted the historic 2011 Money in the Bank pay-per-view, which featured the now-famous WWE Championship Match between John Cena and CM Punk.

The Rosemont Horizon also hosted a portion of WWE's second pay-per-view, WrestleMania 2. The other parts of the pay-per-view were held in New York and California.
