The United States Champion Montel Vontavious Porter was one Superstar who was happy to see Chris Benoit drafted to ECW, but the brazen Superstar could not have been happy by SmackDown’s acquisition of Ric Flair. MVP will face perhaps his greatest challenge at Vengeance: Night of Champions when he steps into the ring with SmackDown’s newest Superstar – the “Nature Boy.”

The brash and bold Superstar may believe himself to be a cut above the rest of his competition, but when it comes to bling, nobody has worn more gold than Nature Boy. While Porter will be looking to protect his first taste of success in WWE, Flair will undoubtedly hope to win his sixth U.S. Championship.

Vengeance: Night of Champions will mark the first time all championships in WWE will be contested, and you can be sure Montel Vontavious Porter has no intention of losing his precious United States Championship. He has claimed time and time again that he is, “better than everyone,” but to be the man, you have to beat the man – and in this case that means defeating Ric Flair, perhaps the greatest champion to ever step in the ring.
