Arena Report - Air Canada Center

This year, Unforgiven makes its first appearance outside of the United States as the Air Canada Center in Toronto, Ontario will play host to the pay-per-view event.

The last time RAW Superstars visited Toronto was on February 24, 2003. That night, a 20-Man Battle Royal took place to determine who would challenge Triple H for his World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XIX. A year earlier, on May 13, 2002, RAW invaded the Air Canada Center when Trish Stratus recaptured the Women's Championship in a Women's and Hardcore Championship tag team match. Hulk Hogan also defeated Ric Flair in an Undisputed Championship match.

Unforgiven marks the second pay-per-view at the Air Canada Center. The first came with SummerSlam 2004 when Randy Orton became the youngest WWE Championship to date. John Cena picked up a win in the first match of a best of five series and Edge retained his Intercontinental Championship in a Triple Threat Match.

The Air Canada Center first opened in 1999. It seats nearly 20,000 and is the home to NBA's Toronto Raptors, NHL's Toronto Maple Leafs and the Toronto Rocks lacrosse team. The center is also known for holding major concert events.
