Preview:ECW Champion Mark Henry vs. Tommy Dreamer
The bad blood between Mark Henry and Tommy Dreamer has been simmering for several weeks now. At The Great American Bash, it promises to boil straight over.
When Mark Henry found himself drafted to ECW last month, the World's Strongest Man leveraged the opportunity set before him to make a statement.
The Land of Extreme heard him loud and clear.
Henry captured the ECW Championship in a Triple Threat Match pitting him against former champions Big Show and Kane at Night of Champions.
Since then, Henry has thrown his sizable weight around the ECW roster, even taking his considerable rage out on poor, pitiful Colin Delaney. That's where Dreamer comes in.
The ECW Original wasn't having it. Dreamer wanted revenge on the World's Strongest Champ, and he scored his chance the following week. The outcome, however, wasn't exactly as he'd planned.
Dreamer held his own during the match, but then a giant barricade presented itself in the form of Tony Atlas.
The WWE Hall of Famer tossed Dreamer's pal Delaney into the announcer's table, providing Henry with enough of a distraction to allow him to level Dreamer and prevail in the end.
At The Great American Bash, the ECW Champion and the ECW Original will meet again. This time, however, Dreamer won't be seeking revenge for Delaney. This time, he'll be seeking revenge for himself.
