Update: Jeff Hardy released from hospital

As reported earlier today on WWE.com, at approximately 3 a.m. this morning, Jeff Hardy was found in the stairwell of his Boston hotel and rushed to a local emergency room. WWE Senior Vice President of Talent Relations, John Laurinaitis has been in contact with Jeff, who has been released from the hospital. Laurinaitis is investigating the incident. It is questionable as to whether or not Jeff Hardy will perform tonight.

Jeff Hardy was found unconscious in a stairway at his hotel in Boston, MA and had to be rushed to the nearest emergency room.

As WWE's second longest-running pay-per-view, Survivor Series is always a massive event. This year, however, promises to be bigger than ever. Not surprisingly, Boston's TD Banknorth Arena has been sold out for weeks, however WWE has just reconfigured the arena to make hundreds of additional seats available. Now even more members of the WWE Universe have an opportunity to witness John Cena return home to challenge Chris Jericho for the World Heavyweight Championship.
