Raw accepts SmackDown LIVE’s Survivor Series challenge

If you ever wondered what would happen when the top Superstars of Raw and SmackDown LIVE collide in a war for brand supremacy, you will get your answer at WWE Survivor Series.

Raw Commissioner Stephanie McMahon and General Manager Mick Foley have officially accepted the Survivor Series challenge thrown down by SmackDown LIVE’s Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan, setting the table for a rare and historic night of inter-brand matches on Sunday, Nov. 20.

Team Blue issued its challenge on the Oct. 11 episode of SmackDown LIVE, with Shane and Bryan proposing that the two brands pit their best and brightest against each other in three separate 5-on-5 Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Matches featuring male Superstars, female Superstars and tag teams.

The 5-on-5 Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match has long been a hallmark of WWE’s fall classic. The bout continues until every participant on a team has been eliminated, either by pinfall, submission, count-out or disqualification.

Now that Raw has accepted the terms of the turf war, how will each side build out its teams for Nov. 20 in Toronto? Stick with WWE.com for ongoing Survivor Series coverage as Raw and SmackDown LIVE prepare for the huge showdown.
