The Target Center - Minneapolis, MN

The Big Ticket, Kevin Garnett, plays for the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Target Center, but SummerSlam was the real big ticket in 1999. Then Governor of Minnesota Jesse Ventura was even the special guest referee for the main event, which saw Mankind defeat Stone Cold Steve Austin and Triple H. The Target Center first opened it doors on October 13, 1990 at the cost of approximately $104,000,000 and was the first major arena in the United States that was designated completely non-smoking.

The Target Center has one of only two moveable arena floors in the country, and the arena floor can be fully raised or lowered in 25 minutes. When the Target Center isn't hosting a Timberwolves or Minnesota Lynx (WNBA) game, it is the place to be for concerts. Such major acts as 50 Cent will be playing there this year.
