April 3, 2011 – Bryan fulfilled a life-long dream, making his WrestleMania debut in an epic United States Championship Lumberjack Match turned Battle Royal featured as a WrestleMania XXVII DVD exclusive.

Bryan: “To tell you the truth, I have mixed feelings about WrestleMania. In a way, it was part of what really brought me down to earth because I knew the WWE Universe wouldn’t see me in WrestleMania until the DVD. And then you start to ask yourself, ‘have I lost the momentum I had worked so hard to gain in my career?’ Still, being part of that incredible event, on The Grandest Stage of Them All, is something I will never forget.”

April 26, 2011 – Bryan would soon head to SmackDown as part of the 2011 WWE Draft, a move that would ultimately prove a catalyst in his dedicated pursuit of distinction. He would now have the chance to prove his greatness against a whole new roster of elite Superstars including Christian, Kane, Ezekiel Jackson and Cody Rhodes.

Bryan: “Being drafted to SmackDown was the best thing that has even happened to me. It truly gave me a chance to show what I could do on television like never before.”

July 17, 2011 – In an epic showdown at WWE Money in the Bank, Bryan rose to prominence, capturing the coveted contract in the briefcase by overcoming Kane, Wade Barrett, Sheamus, Heath Slater, Justin Gabriel, Sin Cara and Cody Rhodes in a knockdown, drag-out battle for glory. (PHOTOS)

July 22, 2011 – Rather than conceal the moment he will cash in the Money in the Bank briefcase – a method perceived by some in the past to be a more opportunistic, yet somehow less than honorable way to win the World Title – Daniel Bryan proclaimed the exact time and place just five days later on SmackDown … the main event at WrestleMania XXVIII.
