WWE World Champion AJ Styles announces injury on SmackDown LIVE

Hopping to the ring wearing a walking boot, AJ Styles opened SmackDown LIVE tonight by announcing that he was not medically cleared to compete in his scheduled main event showdown against James Ellsworth. The injury was apparently the result of the carnage he endured in his Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match against Dean Ambrose for the WWE World Championship at WWE TLC.
No official indication was given as to the extent of the injury at this time.
