Located in the northeast part of South Carolina, Florence is home to over 30,000 and is considered the primary city in what is known as the "Pee Dee" region of the state. The birthplace of major leaguer Reggie Sanders, Florence is also home to the Pee Dee Cyclones hockey team, the Florence Phantoms arena football squad and the Florence Symphony Orchestra.

The Florence Civic Center seats 10,000 and houses a 14,500 square foot exhibit hall. The venue hosted the eighth In Your House pay-per-view in 1996. Due to a severe thunderstorm, the Civic Center lost power during the show. Luckily, the power came back on just in time to see Shawn Michaels retain his title after an incredible match with the British Bulldog. WWE last graced the Florence Civic Center in August, 2005 when the SmackDown Superstars came to town.

Tune in to SmackDown on Friday at 8/7 CT on CW for all the WWE action from Florence, SC.
