When Matt Hardy and MVP began their rivalry over Porter’s United States Championship, none could have predicted that the two Superstars would ever set aside their differences for anything. Yet when they were forced to do so by SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long, Matt and MVP managed to co-exist long enough to capture the WWE Tag Team Championship from Deuce & Domino. The win, many claim, has allowed MVP to keep the biggest threat to his golden supremacy occupied with tag title defenses and one-on-one contests to prove who the superior person is on their unorthodox tandem.

What contests will the co-champions have in store for each other if this gamesmanship continues? Are these competitions going to continue long enough that MVP can completely take Hardy’s focus off the United States Championship?
