Arena Report - Sovereign Center

The Sovereign Center in Reading, Penn. will host what's sure to be a heated episode of Friday Night SmackDown tonight. The brand's first visit in over a year promises to be an eventful one as fans hope to find out what is going on in Vickie Guerrero's head. Will she explain her actions in joining Chavo in his rivalry with Rey Mysterio?

On May 12, 2005, SmackDown made its last appearance in Reading. That was the infamous night when Eddie Guerrero turned on Mysterio and the fans, accusing them of stealing his Latino heat. He asked them to stop living vicariously through him.

Jan. 26, 2004 also went down as a memorable night for Mysterio and the Guerrero family when Eddie and Rey defeated Chavo and Kurt Angle in the main event. Vickie could not choose a better location to fill fans in on the latest installment of the Guerrero-Mysterio drama as the Sovereign Center has hosted the highs and lows of their relationship.

The Sovereign Center serves as home to the Reading Royals hockey team and new Reading Express American Indoor Football League team. Built in 2001 on the former Astor Theatre site, the center has also featured major concerts like Crosby, Stills, & Nash, the Beach Boys, and the Vote for Change Tour.

As SmackDown makes its third visit in as many years to Reading, fans will not want to miss the action. Whether it is elation or tragedy, something big is bound to happen. Don't miss tonight's excitement at 8/7 CT on UPN.
