Wedding plans for SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long and WWE Diva Kristal are in full bloom, and another piece of the puzzle was put together Friday night. During SmackDown, the GM asked long-time friend and associate Ron Simmons to be his best man. Genuinely touched by the request, Simmons accepted, needing only to give Long a one-word answer: “DAMN!”

It’s been a little over two months since Mark Henry returned to SmackDown and destroyed Undertaker after the Deadman had just defeated Batista. In that time, every WWE Superstar that’s stood in the World’s Strongest Man’s path has ended up just like Undertaker: incapacitated.

SAN JOSE, Calif. – Hornswoggle finally found his pot of gold at The Great American Bash, in the form of the lustrous Cruiserweight Championship of the World. With one plop of his four-foot frame, Finlay’s sullied sidekick scored big on Sunday, becoming the smallest champion in WWE history.

To steal a line from the late WWE Hall of Famer Gorilla Monsoon, a battle between Batista and Kane is like the irresistible force meeting the immovable object. Unfortunately for them, the Triple Threat Match for the World Heavyweight Championship showed that there is something more powerful than either: the unstoppable monster wearing the World Heavyweight Title.
