Just moments ago, King Booker was victorious in a Over-the-Top-Rope Battle Royal to become the No. 1 Contender for Rey Mysterio's World Championship at The Great American Bash. WWE.com caught up with King Booker just moments after he reached the backstage area following his triumph.

A jubilant King Booker was already looking forward to his match on July 23 with World Champion Rey Mysterio.

"It's been a royal night for the King's Court. As far as Rey Mysterio, he's one of the all-time greats. Rey has done more than anyone expected him to do in this business by becoming the World Champion." said King Booker. "He's a giant killer, and he's done it all. But this isn't about him, it's about destiny, my destiny. It's about my quest from Camelot to becoming the King and ruler of the wrestling world. This is about my dreams, something King Booker has never had but is about to accomplish. The way I see it, King Booker, at the end of the night will walk out as not only the King, but also as the World Champion."

King Booker will finally get his chance at destiny on July 23, when he faces World Champion Rey Mysterio for the coveted gold at The Great American Bash.
