Who will benefit? You, the WWE fans, voted right here on WWE.com and out of more than 100,000 votes, 41 percent of you believe that Matt Hardy will be the Superstar to step up in King Booker's absence.

The current World Tag Team Champion has been on a serious hot streak as of late alongside his brother, Jeff. If Hardy can harness that momentum and fill in for the injured SmackDown royalty, he could very well reach something that has eluded him in his WWE career: World Championship gold.

Can Hardy focus his attention on SmackDown's richest prize? Will he seize the opportunity like so many other WWE Superstars -- from Triple H to Big Show to Rey Mysterio -- have done in the last several years? Read more.

What will other nominees such as MVP, Finlay and Gregory Helms have to say about this? Can they prove the WWE.com voters wrong?

Tune in to SmackDown every Friday night at 8/7 CT only on the CW Network to find out.
