CHICAGO – Right now, there might not be a hotter Superstar in WWE than Kurt Angle. Fresh off the heels of a monumental WrestleMania 21 victory over Shawn Michaels, Angle faced Eddie Guerrero in a rematch from their WrestleMania XX classic. But unlike their last encounter, this time, Angle was the one walking away from the contest a winner.

CHICAGO – The coolest show on Thursday nights just got a little cooler. This week’s SmackDown! saw the debut of a new talk segment called Carlito’s Cabana, and just like host of the host of the show is known for being unpredictable, the first Cabana was also full of surprises.

CHICAGO – The AllState Arena roared upon hearing John Cena’s new theme music, “My Time is Now,” fill the air. As the new WWE Champion made his way to ringside for his championship coronation – now a week-and-a-half into his championship reign – it was quite obvious that Cena is on cloud nine.
Big Show and Booker T prepare for next week’s Championship Series battle

CHICAGO – The final match of SmackDown!’s Championship Series is beginning to take shape. Last week, JBL scored a controversial victory over Rey Mysterio, and Thursday night, Kurt Angle defeated “Latino Heat,” Eddie Guerrero, meaning both Superstars have advanced to the Triple Threat that will take place in the U.K. in just under two weeks. Next Thursday, the final combatant of that important contest will be decided, when Booker T meets the Big Show in New York’s Madison Square Garden.
