2012 Royal Rumble Match

At the 25th anniversary of the Royal Rumble, 30 Superstars compete for a chance for a title opportunity of their choosing at WrestleMania.
The Miz is forced to enter the Royal Rumble Match at No. 1 after losing a match to R-Truth on Raw.
The Awesome One outlasts three of his former cohorts (Alex Riley, Big Show and R-Truth) combined.
A different Superstar has won the last 14 consecutive Royal Rumble Matches.
The Miz stays in the ring ten minutes longer than any participant in the 2011 Royal Rumble Match.
Primo and five other participants failed to stay in the Royal Rumble Match for more than two minutes: Alex Riley, Jinder Mahal, Michael Cole, Kharma and Big Show.

Epico spends the least amount of time in the 2012 Royal Rumble Match, lasting just 12 seconds.

"Road Dogg" Jesse James shakes, rattles and rolls into the 2012 Royal Rumble Match at No. 23.
The Miz lasts the longest in the 2012 Royal Rumble Match at 45:39.
Big Show eliminates three Superstars in 16 seconds, bringing his career total up to 28 .
Randy Orton is tied for most Final Four appearances in Rumble Match history with five. He is even with Shawn Michaels, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and Kane.
Sheamus and Chris Jericho are two of six Superstars to last more than ten minutes, joining The Miz, Cody Rhodes, Kofi Kingston and Dolph Ziggler.
The Celtic Warrior wins in only his second Royal Rumble Match appearance.
Sheamus is the first Irish-born Royal Rumble Match winner and the second to win at No. 22. Triple H is the first, doing it in 2002.
The Great White has the chance to become the first Superstar since The Undertaker at WrestleMania 23 to successfully capitalize on his championship opportunity.
