How will Raw General Manager William Regal help make Raw XV an unforgettable night?

For more than 15 years and 758 episodes of Raw, our fans have seen just about everything WWE has to offer. While that’s great for the viewers at home or in the arenas every week, it makes Raw General Manager William Regal’s job tough night in and night out. After all, he’s the one who has to seemingly top himself every week to provide the best possible show for the paying customers.

So just what the heck is he going to have to pull out of his hat for Raw’s 15th Anniversary this Monday night?

As WWE Hall of Famer Gorilla Monsoon would say, “He’s going to be pulling out all the stops in this one.” Luckily for Regal, Raw XV is already a huge event in and of itself. In addition to all the current Superstars on Raw – and those in WWE who have competed there – numerous former Superstars, celebrities and legends are clamoring to be in Bridgeport, Conn., this Monday night.

Some of Raw’s biggest shows – such as Raw Homecoming in 2005 or Family Reunion last year – have seen some of the brand’s greatest moments. For Raw XV, we already know that there will be an Evolution reunion, though how nice WWE Champion Randy Orton plays with his former mates – World Heavyweight Champion Batista, Triple H and Ric Flair – remains to be seen. Still, having all four members of one of WWE’s most influential and dominant factions ever under one roof is a feather in Mr. Regal’s cap.

Past momentous Raws have also had some hard-hitting blockbuster matches, and the Ladder Match between Intercontinental Champion Jeff Hardy and Carlito is no exception. Hardy himself knows all about big Raw Ladder Matches; he came within a hair’s breadth of winning the WWE Championship from Undertaker in July 2002 in a classic contest.

Regal still has more great talent at his disposal. Already scheduled to be at Raw’s 15th Anniversary celebration are such greats as “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan, Mick Foley and former GM Eric Bischoff. Plus, there is a wealth of other invitees as well, such as beautiful Divas Trish Stratus, Lita and Sunny, whose appearances will add just that much more star power to an already jam-packed lineup.

But what to do with all of them? Will one of those aforementioned Superstars be named by Mr. McMahon as Raw’s greatest? Those are just a few of the big questions to be answered, and so far, William Regal has been quite tight-lipped about the whole affair.

Regal has big shoes to fill, and even bigger history to live up to. But if there’s one thing everybody knows about the crafty Englishman, it’s that he knows what he is doing in a position of power, so WWE fans around the world can just kick back and enjoy the three-hour thrill ride this Monday night.
