For the second time this year, RAW comes from the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. When RAW was last in Columbus on May 1, John Cena retained his WWE Championship against the Spirit Squad's Kenny. Also, Rob Van Dam and Carlito beat Shelton Benjamin and Chris Masters in a tag team match that night. In Diva action, Torrie and Maria defeated Mickie and Victoria in a Divas Tag Team Cheerleader Match.

On Feb. 17. 2003, RAW made another memorable visit to the Nationwide Arena. Eric Bischoff squared off against Jim Ross in the main event and emerged victorious. Afterward, he mocked Stone Cold Steve Austin with some beers.

King of the Ring 2002 marked the Nationwide Arena's first WWE pay-per-view event. Pinning Rob Van Dam, Brock Lesnar proved to be victorious and won the King of the Ring tournament. In the main event, WWE Champion Undertaker retained his title against Triple H. Two championships also changed hands that night when Jamie Noble won the Cruiserweight Championship from The Hurricane and Molly Holly defeated Trish Stratus for the Women's Championship.

Two years later, Bad Blood 2004 took place. In the main event, Triple H defeated Shawn Michaels in a Hell in a Cell Match that lasted over 45 minutes. Also that night, Chris Benoit retained his World Heavyweight Championship against Kane, Randy Orton beat Shelton Benjamin to retain the Intercontinental Championship and Benoit and Edge beat World Tag Team Champions La Resistance by disqualification.

The Nationwide Arena, which opened in 2000, is the home of the NHL's Columbus Blue Jackets. It seats up to 20,000 people and is known for hosting major concerts, arena football, minor league hockey and lacrosse. It is also expected to host the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament in 2007.
