Arena Report - Nutter Center

The Ervin J. Nutter Center sits just outside of Dayton, Ohio near the campus of Wright State University. The venue seats 12,000 fans and first opened its doors in 1990. Recently judged one of the best entertainment complexes by Amusement Business magazine, the Nutter Center will host the first Raw after WrestleMania 23.

The home of the Wright State University Raiders basketball and hockey teams has also hosted notable sports-entertainment events. In 1993, the King of the Ring tournament emanated from Dayton and saw Yokozuna defeat Hulk Hogan for the WWE title, and Bret Hart crowned King of the Ring. In more recent history, a Battle Royal held at the arena on June 7, 2006 provided an opportunity for The Big Show to defect to the ECW brand.

For a look inside the Nutter Center, catch Raw at 9/8 CT on USA Network.
