As the Last Chance Gauntlet Match kicked off, it looked as though Bobby Lashley would handily punch his ticket to WWE Global Headquarters, as The All Mighty handily dispatched Titus O’Neil, Akira Tozawa and Shelton Benjamin. However, Lashley unintentionally got himself disqualified against Humberto Carrillo, ending his hopes of claiming the Money in the Bank contract.

Carrillo fared well after Lashley continued to attack him, going on to eliminate Angel Garza and Austin Theory. However, Carrillo’s final hurdle was the returning Styles, who looked confident as ever, despite last being seen getting buried by The Undertaker in the Boneyard Match at WrestleMania. Styles showed he hadn’t lost a step, as he defeated Carrillo, then declared that the next Mr. Money in the Bank would be phenomenal.

Drew McIntyre def. Murphy

Though Murphy was out to show just what he has learned from Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre had other plans. Seth Rollins ambushed McIntyre after the match, but The Monday Night Messiah escaped before the WWE Champion could connect with a Claymore.
