Is Bray Wyatt who he says he is? The New Face of Fear declared on the final Raw before WrestleMania 31 that he controls the “spirits” that The Undertaker once ruled, raising the question: Are we looking at the new Phenom?

This is what Wyatt wants the WWE Universe to believe, delivering a sinister soliloquy Monday night amid an ominous roar of thunder that seemingly would have triggered the arrival of The Deadman. Alas, The Demon from Death Valley was nowhere to be seen just six days before his epic clash against The Eater of Worlds. Is Wyatt now in control of these mysterious “powers” like he claims? Or is this The Undertaker playing his trademark mind games, allowing The Man of 1,000 Truths to believe he is more powerful than he really is?

Either way, Wyatt certainly seems to relish his proposed role as the commander of the “demons.” And whether you like the creepy competitor or not, you can’t deny the fact that if anyone can become WWE’s new Phenom, it’s the enigmatic Wyatt.

Arriving in WWE with his Wyatt Family followers Luke Harper and Erick Rowan, the captivating Wyatt has demonstrated a mysterious aura not seen since his WrestleMania 31 adversary. From his control over others to his ability to get inside opponents’ heads, Wyatt’s career path has closely resembled that of The Undertaker’s. Even The Deadman himself would have to tip his black hat to Wyatt for his performance in a Ring of Fire Match against Kane at SummerSlam 2013. However, does such an impressive resume make Wyatt the new Phenom?

It remains to be seen who was in control of the “spirits” on Raw, but we will learn the true ruler of the light and darkness when Wyatt faces The Undertaker this Sunday at WrestleMania 31.
