The Day After Raw: Your Tweets for May 15, 2012
It was an unusually emotional night on Raw SuperShow as The World's Largest Athlete failed to appease Executive Vice President of Talent Relations and Raw and SmackDown GM John Laurinaitis with his apology for mocking Big Johnny's voice last week. Elsewhere, WWE COO Triple H found himself in a situation he might not be able to fight his way out of, and John Cena debuted a colorful new catchphrase against Laurinaitis, whose career will now hang in the balance at WWE Over the Limit. And needless to say, the WWE Universe was on hand for every single minute of it. Here are your tweets for the day after Raw.
Say it ain't so, Show!
Even after he fell to his knees and begged for forgiveness, Big Show couldn't come up with an apology good enough to satiate John Laurinaitis, who vowed to future-endeavor the former World Champion for mocking his voice the previous week. While the WWE Universe and Show himself looked on in horror, Laurinaitis toyed with the giant's emotions and, with his biggest, widest smile, callously fired The World's Largest Athlete.
@jordannstweet: After all that, Big Show is FIRED! #Raw

@Krazychick934: I wanna give Big Show a huge bear hug and never let go... <3 #RAW
@katherinewheelx: No really though, this is kinda depressing to me. I don't like seeing Big Show cry. It's weird. #RAW
Cena to Johnny: "Lahoo-zaher!" (meow)
Somebody stop him! John Cena was on fire last night, rattling off zingers and referencing not one but two cult comedies in his textbook takedown of John Laurinaitis on the mic. The Cenation Commander-in-Chief left the WWE Universe rolling in the aisles as he eviscerated Mr. Excitement on live television and debuted a unique, hockey-inspired catchphrase that shot to the top of Twitter trends instantly. Of course, the night ended on a more serious note, as the Board of Directors decreed that Laurinaitis would be terminated should he lose to Cena at WWE Over the Limit this Sunday. But even as Cena smiled his way through the game-changing announcement, it was ultimately Big Johnny who got the last laugh of the night with a five-star slap to the face of The Cenation Leader.
@DanHand1984: DID JOHN CENA QUOTE SUPER TROOPERS????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!! #Raw

Triple H (law)suits Up
Triple H had harsh words for Brock Lesnar at the beginning of the show last night, but Paul Heyman had a comeback on behalf of the wrecking machine that left The King of Kings speechless: The ECW founder marched to the ring and summarily served the WWE COO with court papers suing him for breaching Lesnar's contract. Needless to say, The Game took this relatively well ... relatively being the operative word, but still.
@Priscoj22: Ahh Paul Heyman, I like when you are on tv #Raw
@JohnZero83: I hope they decide to settle this in Little Peoples Court. #raw
@Donte758: Lawsuit and wrestling? Okay where's IRS? #WWE #RAW

@WWERealTalk: Triple H getting sued? He better make up with @DavidOtunga. @WWE #Raw
The best of the rest
The WWE Universe had plenty to say about the rest of Raw as well, from the endless pool of Funkasaurus love, to a surprise Alex Riley sighting, to the legion of tweeters chomping at the bit for CM Punk and Daniel Bryan to throw down. And then, of course, there were a few whose favorite Superstar was nowhere to be found on last night's show ...
@ProudCeNation_: Punk looked at Daniel while pinning Rhodes. That's a message. #Raw
@WrestleFreaks: No @ZackRyder on @WWE #Raw tonight? #AreYouSeriousBro?
@ashley_schenn: its a sad day when @ZackRyder isnt on #raw

@KyleSBaxter: @WWE #Raw Layla got some guts by knocking down Beth. Smart move.
@DAsharpshooters: Alex Riley owing CM Punk money is by far the most shocking thing to happen on this #Raw. #WWE
