Can John Laurinaitis beat John Cena at Over the Limit?

Highlights of John Laurinaitis' career as an active in-ring competitor

Before becoming General Manager of Raw & SmackDown, John Laurinaitis had a stellar career as an active in-ring competitor.

John Laurinaitis has been called "clown shoes" and "Johnny Toolbox" by WWE Champion CM Punk. But the fact is he wields major power in WWE as General Manager of both Raw and SmackDown, as well as the Executive Vice President of Talent Relations.

We now know there is much more to Laurinaitis than meets the eye.

Before his in-ring career was referenced on Raw SuperShow, only a fraction of the WWE Universe knew that Laurinaitis competed briefly in WCW and All Japan Pro Wrestling as “Johnny Ace.” Johnny Ace's career peaked when he competed in brutally hard-hitting matches in Japan from 1990 - 2000, winning six Tag Team Titles. However, he also competed briefly in the United States, most notably as one half of the tag team "The Dynamic Dudes" with Shane Douglas. Clad in neon tights and riding a skateboard, Johnny Ace wasn't nearly as intimidating as he would become once he honed his craft in Japan. However, The Dynamic Dudes stood toe-to-toe with some of the top tag teams in WCW, including The Fabulous Freebirds, Doom and The Midnight Express.  ( WATCH HIGHLIGHTS)

On the April 30 edition of Raw SuperShow, the WWE Universe saw a glimpse of what Laurinaitis is capable of in the ring during a brutal 3-on-1 attack on John Cena. ( WATCH | PHOTOS

Bolstering his powerbase, the GM has now surrounded himself with Superstars willing to do his biding, including David Otunga, Eve, Lord Tensai and Mr. Sakamoto.

With his in-ring abilities, his level of influence and the fact every muscle in John Cena's left arm was injured at Extreme Rules by Brock Lesnar, is it possible that Laurinaitis could actually defeat Cena at WWE Over the Limit? ( MATCH PREVIEW)
