John Cena vows to defeat The Rock at WrestleMania XXVIII photos
"It is cold outside but it is about to get hot in here!" John Cena roars as he returns to the ring after his confrontation with Eve.
Cena immediately tears into his WrestleMania opponent: "It's tough for me to even call him The Rock because he morphed into Dwayne ... He is not The People's Champion, he is a champion with people."
"This is the part where I'm supposed to say I look forward to WrestleMania and respect The Rock. I don't."
Cena's joviality begins to fade. "I respect and congratulate Dwayne Johnson for what he has done. But through all that funny comedy shtick, I have a legitimate beef with Dwayne Johnson and it's been the same beef I have had with him for seven years."
"I showed up and never left, Cena snarls, "and when it comes down to Dwayne, the first time he got a taste of the bright lights of Hollywood, he was out of here faster than I can say, 'Rocky, don't go.'"
"And then he came back!" Cena continues, the boos showering him now, "I remember it like it was yesterday, he said 'Finally, The Rock has come home, I'm never leaving again.' And then he left, again."
"April 1 means everything to me, because I'm not just fighting for me ... I fight for the very small percentage of people on this planet who say, 'I am proud to be a professional wrestler.'"
"As entertaining as you're gonna be, as many boots you wanna put to as many asses, you don't got the club in the back, son," spits the Cenation leader. "You're gonna have to kill me to beat me."
"The headline reads, 'John Cena defeats Dwayne Johnson in the biggest match in history in his hometown, Miami, Florida." A furious Cena ends his tirade with a final message: "See you next week, movie star."
