WWE Superstars clash with 'The Daily Show' Summer host John Oliver over immigration on Twitter

The hot-topic debate of immigration got a dose of attitude last night when “The Daily Show’s” temporary host, John Oliver, seized upon the controversial actions and comments of – who else – Zeb Colter on this past Monday’s Raw to provide his own take on the topic.

Using Colter’s controversial mentorship of Antonio Cesaro (and Michael Cole and JBL revealing that Colter has a problem with the British-born Oliver himself) as a springboard, Oliver unleashed his inner Superstar and gave a monologue of his own. Tearing his jacket sleeves off to reveal a pair of 4-inch pythons and sporting a toy WWE Championship, Oliver blasted Colter's politics with the help of none other than WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley.

“Immigrants do our toughest, dirtiest jobs,” said a typically impassioned Foley. “Do you have what it takes; the gall, the stones, to step into a basic cable talk show’s host chair when your boss goes away for the summer?”

“I don’t think you do!” Oliver added.

This is not, of course, the first time mainstream detractors have come forth and bashed Colter’s policies, but this is the first time that nearly all of the myriad parties involved have continued to trade barbs long after the segment aired. Ever since the incendiary tag-team of Oliver and Foley, Cesaro, JBL and Colter himself have all continued to trash-talk each other on Twitter ...
