Level Up

Thea Hail def. Amari Miller

Two of NXT Level Up’s most popular Superstars entered competition going in opposite directions, as Thea Hail was seeking her fifth straight win on WWE’s newest brand, while Amari Miller hoped to snap a recent losing streak.

Miller nearly picked up the victory in the seesaw tilt when she hit her foe with three straight debilitating clotheslines and a facebreaker for a long two-count.

Hail, however, got some encouragement from Andre Chase and Duke Hudson and edged Miller by landing a springboard senton and planting her face-first into the mat.

Bronco Nima & Lucien Price def. Bryson Montana & Oba Femi

With no shortage of size, strength, speed or swagger, it seemed inevitable that the new tandem of Bronco Nima and Lucien Price was due for its first win sooner rather than later.

That’s not to say it was easy against Bryson Montana and Oba Femi, who showed impressive chemistry in their first match as partners and landed several innovative tandem moves.

But Nima and Price finally put it all together to earn their first tag team victory with an incredible tandem move that saw Nima tee up his partner to level Montana with a facebreaker, maintain his grip on his opponent and lift him back up for a decisive German suplex.

Oro Mensah def. Javier Bernal

The most innovative Superstar on NXT Level Up clashed with the most outspoken, as Oro Mensah hoped to continue to take the WWE Universe by storm and silence “Big Body Javi.”

He accomplished the feat in the early goings when he stunned his opponent by out-grappling him and leaving him frustrated.

Bernal turned the tables by launching his foe into the air and dropping him stomach-first on the top rope. Bernal controlled the action for some time and nearly claimed the win with a picture-perfect suplex, but Mensah landed a back body drop and sealed the win with a springboard kick followed by a nasty spinning heel kick to improve to 3-1 on NXT Level Up.
