JBL on WWE Instant Access
Immediately after his win at No Way Out, JBL sat down with WWE.com. Here is what he had to say:
WWE.com: How does it feel to be the man to break the undefeated streak of Lashley?
JBL: There was no doubt I was going to break it. Lashley is as good as everybody says he is. His problem is that Lashley came along in my era, and that's just too bad for him. He could have been a world champion, but he came along in my era.
WWE.com: Last year, you were in the main event of WrestleMania. Where do you see JBL at Wrestlemania 22?
JBL: At WrestleMania 22, they better put me in the main event. And if they don't, they better get a pine box because nobody can follow the killer. You can put me in the ring with anyone and no one will be able to follow me. You can put Super Porky in the ring with me, and nobody will be able to follow me. Break down the ring; warm up Mr. McMahon's limo, because no one can follow me.
WWE.com: What do you think of the announcement of another ECW One Night Stand?
JBL: I think that's fine. I have no problem with that. Last year, ECW tried to take the grandeur away from JBL. But if you want to create worldwide excitement, you have to put JBL on the card. They want to have a PPV, that's fine. Their PPV last year was great, but that's because JBL was there. Anywhere JBL is, it sells out. This weekend, you had JBL being the king of all media. I was on the No. 1 business show; I was on my radio show; I was on Fox News; I was winning on pay-per-view, which I sold out personally. I displayed this weekend exactly why I'm the media maven I say I am. Everyone wants a piece of JBL because I equate to volume -- volume of eyeballs watching TV screens and volume of asses in seats.
WWE.com: What are your thoughts on Stacy's recent surge in popularity? It seems she is becoming more of a media maven than the Wrestling God is.
JBL: She's dancing with the bimbos. You could get the same appeal dancing on a pole at Scores. I should reach out and slap you for a stupid question like that. What a waste of my time. I'm done.
