WWE Instant Access with Victoria
Immediately after the Bra & Panties Gauntlet Match at New Year's Revolution, Victoria sat down with WWE.com. Here is what she had to say:
Question: Why were you so upset with Maria on RAW that you attacked her and ripped off her clothes?
Victoria: I had that match with Carlito two weeks ago, it was my first time wrestling a male and I was nervous. I tried my best, but he was bigger and stronger and kept me down. I was upset that she wasn't there to help a fellow Diva and I was upset that she wasn't there to help me. RAW is like a family, and the Divas should always help each other out.
Question: How did it feel to be part of the first ever bra and panties gauntlet match?
Victoria: I know Mr. McMahon wants to start off 2006 with some new pleasing matches. He loves the bra and panties. It's not my favorite, but any time I get a chance to interact with the Divas and kick some butt, then if I have to get down to my bra and panties, so be it.
Question: Did being the most accomplished wrestler in the Gauntlet Match help at all, or is a Bra and Panties match a totally different animal?
Victoria: It's totally different. You have to worry about keeping your clothes on as well as beating your opponent. I'd like to think I'm good at any kind of match, but Ashley was able to counter my Widow's Peak. If someone's going for my clothes, I have to try to stop them, and she got the best of me. I will get my revenge.
