WWE Instant Access with Lita
Immediately after Edge lost to Ric Flair by disqualification at New Year's Revolution, he was asked to talk to WWE.com. Instead, he asked Lita to step in, saying he had bigger business to take care of. Here is what Lita had to say:
Question: Do you feel you went a step too far with Ric Flair tonight?
Lita: Edge's goal was to put Ric Flair out of wrestling and I think he proved a point tonight.
Question: After your personal life was made public in the Matt Hardy situation this summer, do you feel all persons in the public eye deserve their lives to be public?
Lita: I don't care about about others in the public eye and what they do, but speaking for myself and Edge, our personal lives are personal and we won't answer any questions about that.
Question: What makes The Cutting Edge different from other shows like Carlito’s Cabana or Piper’s Pit?
Lita: It's different because anything goes. When you have the balls to say whatever you want it instead of hiding behind management, that makes for a wild show.
