Arco Arena - Sacramento, CA
At a cost of $40 million, the 442,000 square-foot Arco Arena opened in Sacramento in 1988. The home of the NBA's Sacramento Kings and WNBA's Sacramento Monarchs, Arco Arena has also hosted several major concerts, as well as the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament and several NHL games.
In addition to Judgment Day, Arco Arena was also the home of the 1993 Royal Rumble, where Yokozuna won the 30-man Royal Rumble Match. It has also hosted several RAW and SmackDown events, including a SmackDown in September 2004 that saw a classic 2-out-of-3 Falls Match between Eddie Guerrero and Kurt Angle. From 1997-2000, Arco Arena was also frequently visited by WCW, as it hosted Monday Nitro the night after WCW's SuperBrawl pay-per-view in each of those four years.
