Zack Ryder, hailing from Long Island, N.Y., first gained prominence by hitching his wagon, along with partner Curt Hawkins, to a major star: The Rated-R Superstar, Edge.
After helping the Ultimate Opportunist regain the World Heavyweight Championship at Armageddon, Ryder was firmly entrenched in the Rated-R Camp.
Hawkins & Ryder soon began a respectable run as the WWE Tag Team Champions, after winning the titles at The Great American Bash.
Ryder moved on to a solo career after moving to ECW via the 2009 WWE Supplemental Draft. He promised interim ECW General Manager Tiffany he's going to be "the man" on Tuesday nights. "Woo woo woo... You know it!"
