ECW World Champion Johnny Nitro beat Tommy Dreamer under Extreme Rules, making him this week's Most Extreme Player.
Begrudgingly, this week's MEP honors go to the ECW World Champion Johnny Nitro. If I hadn't called the match myself, I would have never believed that Nitro defeated ECW Original Tommy Dreamer in an Extreme Rules Match.
Nitro won’t have very long to crow about his first Extreme Rules victory because in less than two weeks, the ECW World Champion will come face-to-face once again with CM Punk. The Straightedge Superstar has been chomping at the bit to get his hands on Nitro since Vengeance: Night of Champions, and that is exactly what will happen at The Great American Bash.
