Painful reminder

DES MOINES, Iowa -- Lurking deep within every champion is that special something that can't be taught. It's an innate fire to win that very few posses. On ECW on Sci Fi, that burning desire was on full display as four of ECW's elite former champions battled it out in a hard-hitting tag match.

In the end, it was Chavo Guerrero who distinguished himself among his fellow champions by pinning Tommy Dreamer, giving the self-proclaimed "Mexican Warrior" and his partner, WWE Tag Team Champion John Morrison, the victory over Mr. Money in the Bank CM Punk & the ECW Original.

But just as Chavo proved his mettle, Big Show stormed into the arena to remind everyone that he himself is also a former ECW Champion and should have been invited to compete in the match. Angered by ECW General Manager Armando Estrada's faux pas, the World's Largest Athlete took out his aggression on the ring full of champions. First, he viciously chokeslammed Chavo and CM Punk, and then tossed Morrison across the ring like a rag doll. Finally, after declaring he will once again be ECW Champion, Big Show chokeslammed ECW Original Tommy Dreamer to the canvas.

At the beginning of the night, Estrada set up the tag match as a preview of the Singapore Cane Match at One Night Stand -- where every active former ECW Champion will compete to determine the No. 1 Contender to Kane's ECW Championship. Now, with the World's Largest Athlete added into the mix, the competition just got a heck of a lot bigger -- 400 more pounds. Singapore Cane Match Preview...

With just two weeks before their brutal pay-per-view encounter, Chavo Guerrero and Big Show have already made strong statements. What will happen next among ECW's past champions? Find out on ECW on Sci Fi, Tuesday at 10/9 CT.
