It has been nearly two years since the rebirth of ECW, as the extreme brand reaches its 100th episode of bending reality on Sci Fi. The Land of the Extreme has certainly experienced plenty of change throughout those 100 nights, but one thing has remained, and that’s the unique, over-the-top style of wrestling that is unmatched anywhere else in the world of sports-entertainment.

WWE.com was finally able to reach Mike Adamle today; however, the lead ECW commentator refused to comment on his decision to walk off the job during Tuesday night’s broadcast of ECW on Sci Fi.

Tuesday night, ECW announcers Mike Adamle and Tazz removed their headsets and left the broadcast position before the conclusion of ECW on Sci Fi. The event occurred just prior to the evening’s main event Handicap Match, featuring ECW Champion Kane and Chavo Guerrero with Bam Neely.

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – Chavo Guerrero’s wound of losing the ECW Championship to Kane at WrestleMania XXIV was further ripped open at Backlash. On ECW, however, the self-proclaimed “Mexican Warrior” may have started the healing process.
