The Champ overcame DX's Triple H & Shawn Michaels, while The Phenom reigned supreme over Unified Tag Team Champions Chris Jericho & Big Show. Meanwhile, Kofi Kingston was the sole survivor in his Traditional Survivor Series Tag Team Elimination Match.

As special guest host, Gov. Jesse Ventura ushered in a revolution. The WWE Hall of Famer announced that the next No. 1 contender for the WWE Title would be a Superstar who has never before held a World Championship. After defeating Zack Ryder to become the No. 1 Contender for the ECW Title, Shelton Benjamin was challenged to a Ladder Match at WWE TLC by ECW Champion Christian. The two men will meet in the dangerous bout in three weeks on pay-per-view. The future of The Ruthless Roundtable, however, is less clear. After losing to Yoshi Tatsu, William Regal blamed his misfortune on Ezekiel Jackson, causing Big Zeke to violently lash out against Regal & Vladimir Kozlov.

Cody Rhodes may be a second-generation Superstar with all the talent in the world, but The Legacy member's skills weren't enough to topple The World's Strongest Man on Thursday's Superstars. Shelton Benjamin didn't have much luck either, losing his match to ECW's Zack Ryder after Rosa Mendes threw herself into the middle of the action.
