WWE.com has learned that after weeks of bitter fighting and argument, the emotional war between Rey Mysterio and Chavo Guerrero will come to a head at SummerSlam. Spurred on by the confrontation between the two on SmackDown, General Manager Theodore Long set a match for SummerSlam between the former friends, Mysterio and Chavo. The malice and resentment between these men has reached the boiling point, growing as far as to bring Chavo out of retirement to battle Mysterio on Aug. 20.

Arena Report - Gaylord Entertainment Center

Tonight on SmackDown, WWE returns to "Music City, USA," Nashville, Tenn. With a little over a week until SummerSlam, all of the Superstars will be looking to deliver one more good ol' fashioned country beat-down in the home of country music and the Grand Ole Opry before heading north to Boston for the Biggest Party of the Summer. The Nashville faithful will flock to the Gaylord Entertainment Center in anticipation of the latest series of dramatic WWE moments to occur within the walls of the GEC.

Dead Man Walking?

On a chaotic edition of SmackDown from Nashville, The Great Khali's master plan to avoid facing Undertaker in a Last Man Standing Match was spoiled in a big way when he received a ground breaking chokeslam from the Phenom. To make matters worse, SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long ordered the Punjabi warrior to meet Undertaker in a Last Man Standing match next week on the show.

Can Rey stay focused?

Two of SmackDown's most impressive and entertaining Superstars will meet on Friday when the high-flying Rey Mysterio faces the brash Mr. Kennedy. With two recent wins over The Animal Batista, Kennedy will look to continue to make a name for himself with a win over the former World Champion. Hardest-hitting team ever?

Bobby Lashley said all along that there was nothing wrong with him, and last week on SmackDown he stormed into the ring and proved it by punishing William Regal with a running powerslam. The devious U.S. Champion Finlay managed to slink away from the damage (with some help from his Little Bastard and shillelagh), but this Friday night on SmackDown the Irishman's luck will truly be tested.
