Arena Report - Tyson Events Center

Tonight marks a historical moment for Superstars of RAW as they will make the WWE debut at the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City, Iowa. The 10,000 seat arena opened its doors in December 2003 and has been entertaining fans of a wide variety. While this is the first time that WWE will be at the Tyson Events Center, it's not the first time that WWE has rolled into Sioux City.

Divas to duke it out on RAW

Former Women's Champion Trish Stratus isn't letting a RAW newcomer push her around. A few weeks ago on RAW, Melina and Johnny Nitro stormed the ring to insult Stratus, who was returning to action for the first time since taking time off with an injured shoulder. Melina tore into Trish and proclaimed herself to be the new top Diva on RAW, telling Stratus she was over the hill as a WWE Diva.

Diva Search begins

The $250,000 2006 Diva Search Contest is now underway, and all eight finalists took the stage on RAW from Sioux City, Iowa to show the WWE fans why they deserved their place next to the sexiest women on television. Each finalist had 20 seconds to introduce themselves to those in attendance at the Tyson Events Center and to the millions watching live on the USA network.

Be careful what you ask for

Last week, Mr. McMahon thought he had finally come up with the perfect plan to solve his problem with D-Generation X -- he banned them from RAW at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia. The idea looked good on paper, but sure enough, DX ended up causing even more havoc outside the arena than they have been causing inside. So, after being embarrassed yet again last week, the WWE Chairman will take his chances and actually invite DX to RAW Monday night in Sioux City, Iowa.
