The ban backfires

After D-Generation X rigged a prank that dumped a sea of raunchy feces onto Mr. McMahon, his son Shane and all five members of the Spirit Squad last Monday on RAW, The Chairman was bound to stay one step ahead of DX this week by banning Triple H and Shawn Michaels from the arena. However, his plot to hold the WWE pranksters at bay didn't keep, as HBK and The Game caused as much—if not more—havoc from outside the arena than they could have inside.

Edge reclaims WWE Championship

On RAW, in a Triple Threat Match involving Edge, Rob Van Dam and John Cena, Edge was able to bring the WWE Championship back to WWE for the first time since ECW's RVD won it in June at ECW One Night Stand.

Arena Report--Wachovia Center

Philadelphia's Wachovia Center (formerly known as the CoreStates Center and the First Union Center) will host tonight's live edition of Monday Night RAW. Philly has hosted a slew of WWE events in past years, including WrestleMania XV, In Your House 10: Mind Games, the 2004 Royal Rumble and Unforgiven in 2000.

Nitro confident heading into RAW

Tonight will be Johnny Nitro's first defense of his Intercontinental Championship, and it couldn't come against a hungrier opponent. It's apparent Carlito hasn't forgotten what took place at Vengeance when Johnny Nitro won the Championship by stealing Carlito's pin over Shelton Benjamin in their Triple Threat Match. Tonight on RAW, the Intercontinental Championship that Nitro snatched from Carlito will be on the line when the two meet in the ring for the first time since Vengeance.

Ever since D-Generation X literally put WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon, his son Shane and the entire Spirit Squad down in the dumps, everyone knew that there would be hell to pay for Shawn Michaels and Triple H. Well, Mr. McMahon didn't want to wait until Monday night to reveal what he had up his sleeve. The Chairman has made a preemptive strike and has banned D-Generation X from RAW at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia Monday night.
