RICHMOND, Va. – The New Year kicked off with an action-packed episode of WWE Main Event. On the second day of 2013, Antonio Cesaro faced a massive challenge and defended the United States Title against The Great Khali. Also, new Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett battled a number of Superstars in a Gauntlet Match intended to send a message to former champion Kofi Kingston – who will face Barrett for the title in a championship rematch on SmackDown.
