| 2 |
CHRIS JERICHO (9) After retaining the World Heavyweight Title in a steel cage against CM Punk on Raw, GM Mike Adamle announced that Jericho would defend his gold against HBK in a Ladder Match at No Mercy. |
4 | |
| 3 |
MATT HARDY (1) Matt Hardy defeated Mike Knox in the opening bout of ECW on Tuesday night, but he definitely has to keep his focus as Mark Henry has made it known that he is looking to regain the ECW Championship. |
2 | |
| 4 |
The Animal may not have been in action this week, but he certainly made his point clear about why he should be the No. 1 contender. At No Mercy, he'll have the chance to prove it against JBL. |
5 | |
| 5 |
The Moscow Mauler is an opponent to be watched, and he certainly made his point to WWE Champion Triple H and Jeff Hardy, who both felt his wrath on SmackDown. |
7 | |
| 6 |
Unseen since his altercation with Big Show at Unforgiven, The Deadman is certainly not gone for good, and both The World's Largest Athlete and SmackDown GM Vickie Guerrero should be on notice. |
3 | |
| 7 |
The World's Strongest Man had tough competition this week in ECW's main event against Finlay, but he proved why he was once ECW Champion and might be the next ECW Champion before we know it. |
8 | |
| 8 |
Though he defeated The Brian Kendrick on SmackDown, the No. 1 contender for the WWE Championship was once again left with a bitter taste in his mouth thanks solely to Vladimir Kozlov. |
9 | |
| 9 |
After losing his gold without even being in the Scramble Match at Unforgiven, CM Punk was unable to best World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho in the Steel Cage Match on Raw to earn it back. |
6 | |
| 10 |
The World Tag Team Champions have been looking to prove themselves ever since they heard Randy Orton's speech a few weeks ago on Raw, and they've been doing everything in their power to do so. |
12 | |
| 11 |
Some strange things have been seen on Monday nights, but Kane has certainly been vying for the strangest as of late, and it is the Master of the 619 who seems to be his main target. |
10 | |
| 12 |
After being MIA for the last few weeks, The Great Khali made his return to the ring this week, defeating Scotty Goldman. Next week, he'll have a much more difficult opponent in Vladimir Kozlov. |
13 | |
| 13 |
The World's Largest Athlete has his eyes set on SmackDown's top prize and is doing whatever he must to get it. Even if that means helping SmackDown GM Vickie Guerrero take care of Undertaker. |
11 | |
| 14 |
Chris Jericho may not like it, but we at The Academy are certainly excited to see the World Heavyweight Champion defend his title against Shawn Michaels in a Ladder Match at No Mercy. |
16 | |
| 15 |
Though he wasn't in action this week, Santino Marella certainly felt the wrath of The Animal after he attempted to confront him in the center of the ring. The next thing he knew, he was looking up at the lights. |
15 | |
| 16 |
For two weeks in a row, the Jamaican Superstar has lost to the World Tag Team Champions & Manu in Six-Man Tag Team action on Raw, and we sure hope his luck changes for the better soon. |
14 | |
| 17 |
The Glamazon should be focusing more on her Women's Championship than on her beau Santino Marella's business. As seen on Raw, all it will bring her is trouble and a spinebuster from Batista. |

R-Truth is a magnificent athlete and he proved that by defeating another extraordinarily gifted competitor in United States Champion Shelton Benjamin on SmackDown. |
20 | |

Unfortunately for The Brian Kendrick, his loss this week drops him three spots. With Ezekiel Jackson by his side, Kendrick has certainly impressed The Academy and we see him bouncing back in no time. |
19 | |
| 23 |
Candice Michelle has certainly let her return to the ring known as she is headed full steam toward her Women's Title Match against Beth Phoenix at No Mercy. The Glamazon had better watch out. |

"Jericho's not No. 1? The Academy of Wrestling Arts & Fraud is trying to pull the wool over the eyes of the WWE Universe!" - Tracy
The Academy replies: He got about as close as you can without being No. 1. Maybe next week he'll make the push. Remember, the P25 is cumulative.
"Kozlov at No. 5? He's not even a champion." - Craig
The Academy replies: True, he's not a champion. But, he's undefeated and absolutely on fire.
"I can't believe The Miz & Morrison are off the P25. This is a sad, sad day for WWE." - Drew
The Academy replies: The once-dynamic duo has been struggling both together and apart as of late. They'll have to get back on track to return to this list.
The following Superstar(s) failed to maintain their position on the P25 this week:
John Morrison & The Miz – With The Miz losing to Evan Bourne on ECW, The Academy had no choice but to say farewell to the self-proclaimed "Chick Magnet" & the Shaman of Sexy as they drop off this week's P25.
Mickie James – After losing her rematch to Women's Champion Beth Phoenix on Raw, it appears Mickie James has headed back to the drawing board as she was nowhere to be found this week.
The following Superstar(s) also received votes from members of The Academy:
John "Bradshaw" Layfield – JBL quickly defeated ECW Original Tommy Dreamer on Raw in what could be a statement to Raw General Manager Mike Adamle about who should have been the No. 1 contender.
Jesse & Festus – It may be a bit unorthodox, but the Biscuits & Gravy boys have certainly garnered the attention of The Academy by bubblewrapping their opponents for the last two weeks. Seriously, what's that all about?
