This Week Movement Superstar Last Week
1

JOHN CENA (18)

The Champ is still here, fighting off Bobby Lashley at The Great American Bash. Now, Cena must mentally prepare to defend his WWE Championship against Randy Orton at SummerSlam.

1
2

THE GREAT KHALI (1)

It was a championship celebration for the 7'3 World Heavyweight Champion, defeating Kane and Batista at The Bash. But will Batista end to the Indian champion’s short reign?

3
3

JOHN MORRISON

The ECW Champion is giving “15 minutes of fame” to the locker room, offering a title opportunity to anyone who survives. We bet CM Punk would be up for that challenge.

4
4

BOBBY LASHLEY

After coming so close to the WWE Championship at The Great American Bash, the Dominator was in no mood for the accidental apple debris shower he got from Carlito on Raw.

2
5

UMAGA

The Samoan Bulldozer won a spirited match against Jeff Hardy at The Great American Bash, but after taking repeated chair shots from Hardy on Raw, he learned Hardys “never say die” the hard way.

5
6

RANDY ORTON

A win over Dusty Rhodes at The Great American Bash, a win over Cody Rhodes and the punting of Dusty’s head on Raw earned the third-generation Superstar a WWE Championship match at SummerSlam.

10
7

BATISTA

The Animal came up just short in his World Heavyweight Championship match against The Great Khali and Kane. He took out his frustration on Deuce on SmackDown.

6
8

CM PUNK

The Straightedge Superstar couldn’t win the ECW Championship at The Great American Bash against John Morrison. But he’s still hot on the champ’s tail, beating him in tag-team action.

7
9

MONTEL VONTAVIOUS PORTER

MVP was able to capitalize on Matt Hardy’s momentary “loss of focus” to retain the United States Championship, but Hardy got revenge in tag-team action against the franchise playa on SmackDown.

11
10

JEFF HARDY

Despite his loss to Umaga at The Bash, Hardy made an impression on the Samoan bully – an impression on Umaga’s head with about 10 strong chair shots. Beating Mr. Kennedy on Raw helps as well.

8
11

MATT HARDY

Matt told MVP he would keep defeating him until he gets another United States Championship title opportunity. Looks like MVP will be busy with this Carolina daredevil.

9
12

MARK HENRY

The World’s Strongest Man continues to steamroll opponents on SmackDown and climbs up the POWER 25 Rankings two spots.

14
13

KANE

Frustrated by his loss at The Great American Bash, the Big Red Machine defeated Dave Taylor on SmackDown.

12
14

CANDICE MICHELLE

The Women’s Champion debuted her new standing bulldog finishing maneuver, the Candy Wrapper, in her win over Melina at The Bash.

16
15

LANCE CADE & TREVOR MURDOCH

The World Tag Team Champions tried to help Umaga crush the Women’s Champion on Raw. We bet that didn’t help them score points with the Divas in the locker room.

13
16

DEUCE & DOMINO

The WWE Tag Team Champions aren’t doing well in singles action. Deuce fell at the hands of The Animal on SmackDown.

15
17

FINLAY

Guinness toasts all around! The Belfast Bruiser was seen chuckling backstage as his little associate Hornswoggle won the Cruiserweight Open at The Great American Bash.

18
18

PAUL LONDON & BRIAN KENDRICK

The high-flyers were defeated by The Self-Proclaimed World’s Greatest Tag Team on Raw. Which one of these two will be the next No. 1 contender for the World Tag Team Championship?

17
19

SNITSKY

The deranged giant continued his path of rage on Heat. Watch the match…

19
20

KING BOOKER

More crown chaos! With Booker vs. Jerry “The King” Lawler on Monday Night Raw, the Academy hopes this royal dispute will finally be settled.

20
21

HORNSWOGGLE

Some smart thinking by Finlay’s feisty associate led to the leprechaun’s Cruiserweight Championship victory at The Bash. Now, he’ll add that gold to his pot at the end of the rainbow.

NR
22

CHAVO GUERRERO

The former Cruiserweight Champion was agonized by Hornswoggle’s win at The Bash. Actually, it was a little shocking to the rest of the Open field as well. Heh … “little.”

21
23

BIG DADDY V

With Matt Striker leading the way, ECW’s new resident monster beat two men at once on ECW on Sci Fi.

24
24

CARLITO

A win over Sandman puts the Caribbean Superstar on the POWER 25. But to stay there, he’ll have to watch where he spits those apples. Please don’t spray any Academy voters, thank you.

NR
25

MR. KENNEDY

A loss to Jeff Hardy on Raw knocks the Green Bay gladiator down the charts two spots.

WHAT YOU'RE SAYING

"How did Khali even pull in one first place vote? It's all Cena this week." - Rich
The Academy replies: Granted Cena proved himself over The Great Khali, but with Cena's RKO and Khali's dominant two weeks, this member was swayed enough to go with the Indian giant.

"How is Hornswoggle only No. 21? He had the best week out of anyone!" - J.T.
The Academy replies: No. 21 is nothing to sneeze at. It's his first week ever on the P25 and we're pretty sure he'll be sneaking his way up even further, soon.

"Randy Orton moved up that much simply because he got a match with Cena? Let's see him win it first." - Lesley
The Academy replies: Don't forgot beating Dusty Rhodes at his own game and sending Cody to the hospital. This was a huge week for Orton... and he managed to get one up on John Cena already.

FAREWELL...

The following Superstar(s) failed to maintain their spot on the POWER 25 this week:

Melina - Losses at The Bash and on Raw bump the former Women’s Champion off the rankings.

Kevin Thorn - ECW’s creature of the night couldn’t turn out Stevie Richards’ lights on ECW on Sci Fi.

OTHERS EARNING VOTES...

The following Superstar(s) also received votes from members of the Academy:

World's Greatest Tag Team - Benjamin and Haas get some Academy votes after an impressive win over London & Kendrick.

The Miz - Not only is the ECW newcomer charming the Divas of Extreme Exposé, he’s getting votes after two straight wins.

Stevie Richards - The Philadelphia hardcore original steals a victory from Kevin Thorn.
