JOHN CENA (8)

Cena faced off with Bobby Lashley on Raw. But the REAL face-off comes at The Great American Bash this Sunday. Will Cena be holding the gold and the No. 1 Power 25 ranking next week? We'll soon see.

BOBBY LASHLEY (8)

The real loser in the Cena-Lashley face-off on Raw was Lashley’s podium. If Lashley can put down Cena like he did that piece of furniture, we could have a new WWE Champion come Monday morning.

3

THE GREAT KHALI (2)

In a shocker, the new World Heavyweight Champion won a 20-man Battle Royal to claim the gold. Parties are still going on from Mumbai to Kolkata, celebrating the first Indian champion in WWE history.

JOHN MORRISON (1)

Academy voters almost didn’t recognize Johnny Nitr… I mean, John Morrison, on their weekly ballots. He changes his name, but not his hatred for CM Punk. These two should have a bruising match at The Bash.

5
5

UMAGA

The Samoan Bulldozer will defend the Intercontinental Championship against the man he originally won it from, Jeff Hardy.

4
6

BATISTA

No one was happier to see Edge hand over his title than The Animal, who was banned from winning it while Edge was champ. Now, the hunt is on! He gets a Triple Threat title opportunity at The Bash.

6
7

CM PUNK

The Straightedge Superstar doesn’t care what name his Great American Bash opponent goes by. He still has his ECW World Title match, and plans to make the Hollywood champ "Go To Sleep."

7
8

JEFF HARDY

Winning a Four Way Elimination Match on Raw earned the Carolina high-flyer an Intercontinental Championship match against Umaga. It could be an even more memorable night for the Hardy family if…

9
9

MATT HARDY

… Jeff’s brother Matt can beat SmackDown’s franchise playa, the United States Champion, MVP. It would be the first time in WWE that both Hardys have held singles’ gold at the same time.

8
10

RANDY ORTON

The Academy voters have a fever, and the only prescription is more cowbell! Orton will try to teach WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes a lesson as the two tangle at ends of the Texas Bull Rope Match at The Bash.

11
11

MONTEL VONTAVIOUS PORTER

Porter got booted from the World Heavyweight Championship Battle Royal by his Bash foe, Matt Hardy. But taking MVP’s United States Title away will be a bit more difficult, the Academy feels.

10
12

KANE

The Big Red Machine’s attack on Edge last week led to the Rated-R Superstar’s injury. Now, Kane must face both Batista and The Great Khali to win World Heavyweight Championship gold at The Bash.

14
13

LANCE CADE & TREVOR MURDOCH

The World Tag Team Champions beat The Highlanders for a second time in a row, this time on WWE Heat. Watch the match…

13
14

MARK HENRY

The World’s Strongest Man is almost always the favorite against one man, maybe two. But it took 10 people to push Henry over the top rope to eliminate him from the 20-man battle royal on SmackDown.

15
15

DEUCE & DOMINO

The WWE Tag Team Champions couldn’t keep themselves in the 20-man battle royal on SmackDown. Back to the Other Side of the Tracks until next week.

16
16

CANDICE MICHELLE

The Women’s Champion watched her Great American Bash opponent, Melina, defeat Mickie James. But she also kept an eye on Melina’s new companion, Beth Phoenix, who could be a troublemaker at The Bash.

17
17

PAUL LONDON & BRIAN KENDRICK

More fireworks between this duo and The World’s Greatest Tag Team: Paul London was upset by tag-team rival Charlie Haas on Heat. Watch the match...

18
18

FINLAY

The Belfast Bruiser held his own in the 20-man battle royal, but no luck of the Irish could save him, as he was eliminated late in the match.

19
19

SNITSKY

The deranged giant continues his path of rage, decimating Val Venis on Raw.

22
20

KING BOOKER

Could there be a royal rumble on the horizon between WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler and Raw’s monarch about royal title infringment?

21
21

CHAVO GUERRERO

The Cruiserweight Championship hung in as long as he could in the 20-man Battle Royal on SmackDown.

FAREWELL...

The following Superstar(s) failed to maintain their spot on the POWER 25 this week:

Edge - You can take his title away, but not his accomplishments as World Heavyweight Champion.

Elijah Burke - Another loss to CM Punk bumps the Elijah Experience out of the rankings.

Major Brothers - Brian and Brett slip out of the rankings after being eliminated early in the 20-man battle royal.

OTHERS EARNING VOTES...

The following Superstar(s) also received votes from members of the Academy:

Sandman - Beers and cheers from the Academy voters. A win over Carlito at The Bash should move the hardcore icon into the P25.

Victoria - An impressive win over Torrie Wilson on SmackDown made Academy voters take note.
