This Week Movement Superstar Last Week
1

BOBBY LASHLEY (10)

Two wins (one by DQ) for the Dominator on Raw leapfrogs the former ECW World Champion over former No. 1 John Cena in the minds of the Academy voters.

2
2

JOHN CENA (8)

The Champ falls one spot in the poll, but the Academy voters are eagerly awaiting his confrontation with Lashley on Raw Monday night.

1
3

EDGE

You are celebrating Mardi Gras in July and you get a funny feeling about that big-headed parade character… it happens to us all the time. Unfortunately for Edge, he speared the wrong big-headed character.

3
4

UMAGA

The Samoan Bulldozer proved that his win over Santino Marella at Vengeance: Night of Champions was no fluke, defeating the former champ soundly once again on Raw.

5
5

JOHNNY NITRO

The ECW World Champion continues his impressive streak, remaining undefeated against the ECW roster. The Great American Bash match between him and CM Punk should be filled with fireworks.

6
6

BATISTA

The Animal tried to spark a confrontation between him and The Great Khali on SmackDown prior to their Bash match. The Indian colossus wisely backed down to fight another day.

4
7

CM PUNK

The Straightedge Superstar had his hands full with Stevie Richards, but still picked up another win. Can Punk topple Nitro at The Great American Bash and make the champ “Go To Sleep?”

7
8

MATT HARDY

Thanks to his impressive streak of singles wins on SmackDown, it’ll be Matt vs. MVP for the United States Championship at The Great American Bash.

8
9

JEFF HARDY

The other half of the Hardy clan turned heads on Raw, helping Bobby Lashley beat King Booker and Mr. Kennedy. We see good things down the road for the Swanton Bomber.

11
10

MONTEL VONTAVIOUS PORTER

Porter took a cheap shot at his U.S. Championship opponent Matt Hardy on SmackDown, attacking him after Hardy’s match. It just shows you can’t turn your back on SmackDown’s franchise playa.

10
11

RANDY ORTON

The Legend Killer stood face-to-face with the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes and his son, Cody, accepting the challenge for a Texas Bull Rope Match at The Bash.

9
12

THE GREAT KHALI

The Indian giant tried to back out of his challenge to Batista at The Great American Bash, but SmackDown’s Assistant GM Vickie Guerrero kept him to his commitment. Good on you, Vickie!

12
13

LANCE CADE & TREVOR MURDOCH

The blue-collar champs defeated The Highlanders on Raw.

13
14

KANE

With fire in his eyes, the World Heavyweight Championship contender stalked the Rated-R Superstar all night long on SmackDown. These two are destined to explode at The Great American Bash.

14
15

MARK HENRY

Poor Eugene was next to feel the force of the crushing arms of the World’s Strongest Man. Was the car ride really worth it?

17
16

DEUCE & DOMINO

The WWE Tag Team Champions fooled Eugene into taking Deuce’s place against Mark Henry. We wonder if they own a two-headed quarter too.

15
17

CANDICE MICHELLE

The Women’s Champion paired with Mickie James to defeat Jillian Hall and a returning Beth Phoenix in tag action. With Melina at ringside, this five-some could spark some flames in the title picture.

16
18

PAUL LONDON & BRIAN KENDRICK

Paul London picked up a singles win over Shelton Benjamin and enjoyed watching Benjamin squirm with the thought of having to kiss his tag partner Charlie Haas.

18
19

FINLAY

The Belfast bruiser notched a win over the cowboy crossover Jimmy Wang Yang. Even Hornswoggle wanted in on the action, attacking Yang after the bell.

22
20

CHAVO GUERRERO

A stunning loss to the newest SmackDown tag team, Major Brothers, had the Cruiserweight Champion arguing post-match with his tag-team partner, Jamie Noble.

19
21

KING BOOKER

The king is being a royal pain for Bobby Lashley’s title hopes. But with a little help from Jeff Hardy, King Booker's attacks were fended off on Raw.

20
22

SNITSKY

The deranged giant beat down Super Crazy on Raw after weeks of inaction. Guess he had some pent-up aggression to work out.

24
23

MELINA

The former Women’s Champion faked a sprained ankle to get out of her match against Candice on Raw. But no one looks as good as Melina in bandages and high heels.

21
24

ELIJAH BURKE

The Experience is back on the POWER 25 after breaking his losing streak, defeating Balls Mahoney on ECW on Sci Fi.

25

MAJOR BROTHERS (BRETT & BRIAN)

Brian and Brett broke through in a big way in their SmackDown debut, beating Chavo Guerrero and Jamie Noble.

WHAT YOU'RE SAYING

"Bobby Lashley at No. 1? He still has to prove himself against Cena." - Karen
The Academy replies: You're absolutely right. Right now, though, he is heading toward The Great American Bash with all of the momentum in the world.

"Melina falls? She can't help if she was too hurt to compete!" - Dawn
The Academy replies: The Academy thought it was a little bit of a cheap way out, but she'll certainly have the opportunity to prove us wrong at The Bash.

"I don't see the 'Nature Boy' on here. Am I reading this right?" - Christopher
The Academy replies: Sorry, but you are. He barely fell off, but when you're ranked No. 20-25 and Superstars like the Major Brothers have such a big week, you're in a pretty vulnerable spot.

FAREWELL...

The following Superstar(s) failed to maintain their spot on the POWER 25 this week:

Ric Flair - The 16-time World Champion slips off the rankings. But with Nature Boy in the locker room, it probably won’t be for long.

Jimmy Wang Yang - The cruiserweight’s POWER 25 run ends after a loss to Finlay.

OTHERS EARNING VOTES...

The following Superstar(s) also received votes from members of the Academy:

William Regal - The man behind the “power of the punch” earned a DQ win over Sandman, the man behind the “power of the cane.”

Big Daddy V - The goliath is even more dangerous with Matt Striker at his controls.

The Miz - Hoo-rah!!! The Miz scores his first-ever ECW win over Nunzio.
