This Week Movement Superstar Last Week
1

EDGE (14)

After the shake up with the 2008 Draft, Edge still remains No. 1 after first winning two draft picks for SmackDown in a Battle Royal on Raw and then defeating Matt Hardy on SmackDown.

1
2

TRIPLE H (5)

The Game was just as surprised as anyone to see himself heading to Friday nights. With his change of location, he also brought the title with him.

2
3

BATISTA

Some would argue that The Animal's move to Raw may have been the biggest addition to Monday nights. This will certainly be true if he brings the World Heavyweight Championship to Raw after Sunday.

3
4

KANE

The ECW Champion got two big pieces of news this week. First, he switched brands and is now a Raw Superstar. Second, he'll be facing Big Show at Night of Champions... and also Mark Henry.

4
5

BIG SHOW

At One Night Stand, Big Show defeated four other former ECW Champions to earn an opportunity at Kane's title. It can not make Big Show happy that with the title match  just days away, Mark Henry joins the fray.

5
6

MATT HARDY

The Hardy Boys reunion didn't last long on Monday. Shortly after his brother Jeff was drafted to SmackDown, Matt was sent packing to the Land of the Extreme, bringing the United States Championship with him.

6
7

CM PUNK

Mr. Money in the Bank is now on Monday nights. His unique style will surely make him a top contender, and with the interesting title situation following the Draft, could we see him use the briefcase this Sunday?

7
8

JOHN CENA

With WWE Champion Triple H now a SmackDown Superstar, the Chain Gang Commander's match on Sunday is even more important as he could bring the WWE Championship back to Raw.

10
9

CHRIS JERICHO

As of now, Y2J is the only champion not scheduled to defend his title at Night of Champions. His mind, however, has been set on teaching Shawn Michaels a lesson as of late.

9
10

SHAWN MICHAELS

Jericho may have forgotten about the Intercontinental Championship, but Shawn Michaels certainly hasn't forgotten about Y2J. His injured eye is a constant reminder.

8
11

VLADIMIR KOZLOV

If the 2008 Draft pleased anyone, it would have been the monster from Moscow. Now with all the fresh blood on Friday nights, Kozlov will almost certainly be looking forward to the varied competition.

11
12

KOFI KINGSTON

Though Kofi couldn't secure a draft pick for ECW in his match against JBL, he was able to get the last laugh over Shelton Benjamin on ECW. The Jamaican Superstar can relax now that they are both on separate brands.

12
13

MONTEL VONTAVIOUS PORTER

Due to his issues with SmackDown GM Vickie Guerrero as of late, MVP might have been hoping for a new home with the Draft. We guess the Ballin' Superstar will have to figure out how to deal with Vickie instead.

14
14

JOHN MORRISON & THE MIZ

The WWE Tag Team Champions won the only draft pick for ECW on Monday which certainly gave the duo some momentum and bragging rights heading into their title defense at Night of Champions.

15
15

CHAVO GUERRERO

The self-proclaimed "Mexican Warrior" & Bam Neely couldn't pick up the win over World Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes & Hardcore Holly on Raw, but that may be because Chavo has other gold on his mind.

13
16

FINLAY

Though Finlay's tenure has been spent on SmackDown, his switch to ECW is seemingly a perfect fit for the Belfast brawler.

16
17

JEFF HARDY

The Legend Thriller has been on a tear since returning a few weeks ago. With him now bringing his high-risk style to Friday nights, it will be interesting to see the impact he makes on the blue brand.

18
18

MR. KENNEDY

Being drafted to SmackDown might have been the best thing that could have happened to the Green Bay Loudmouth. Now with the Burchills out of his hair, he can focus on securing some gold.

17
19

HORNSWOGGLE

Now that Hornswoggle is going Extreme, it will be interesting to see how he and Finlay fair in their match against WWE Tag Team Champions The Miz & John Morrison at Night of Champions this Sunday.

21
20

MICKIE JAMES

So far, the Women's Champion has not had good luck against Katie Lea Burchill. With the gold hanging in the balance, will she be able to fend off her adversary for the first time and retain her championship?

19
21

NATALYA

Natalya has been one of the most dominant Divas on SmackDown and continues to show it each and every week. She will surely give it her all once she finds out who she'll face for the Divas Championship.

20
22

CODY RHODES & HARDCORE HOLLY

The World Tag Team Champions have certainly turned things around as of late, and this Sunday at Night of Champions, they are ready to make Ted DiBiase put his money where his mouth is.

NR
23

UMAGA

Tommy Dreamer and Colin Delaney could tell anyone on the SmackDown roster that they are in for a rude awakening. With the Samoan Bulldozer heading to Friday nights, carnage is certain to follow.

22
24

MARK HENRY

The ECW Championship Match at Night of Champions was originally supposed to be between ECW Champion Kane and Big Show, but after beating Kane Tuesday, Mark Henry has been added to the mix.

NR
25

KATIE LEA BURCHILL

Though Katie Lea wasn't in action this week, she might have the biggest match of her young career Sunday. The English lass has a chance to win the Women's gold at Night of Champions.

WHAT YOU'RE SAYING

"Why is Edge No. 1? He lost this week, remember?" - Bill
The Academy replies: His performance still earns him the top spot. That can change, though, with a pay-per-view around the corner.

"If the P25 is truly cumulative, Shawn Michaels should be No. 1 every single week no matter what." - Budd
The Academy replies: That's a bit more cumulative than we're thinking. Yes, we have to look at the long term, but when other Superstars are hot, they get the top nods.

"Mr. McMahon should be honorary No. 1 after the injuries he suffered. The Academy should be ashamed." - Elle
The Academy replies: We appreciate your concern for the Chairman, but we think even Mr. McMahon would say Edge is worthy of his position on the P25.

FAREWELL

The following Superstar(s) failed to maintain their position on the P25 this week:

Beth Phoenix – Another week out of action for The Glamazon sees her exit this week from the P25.

Colin Delaney – It was certainly a bad week for Delaney. First he was beaten senseless by Umaga, and now he loses his spot on the Power 25.

Jesse & Festus – We hope the resurgence of this duo wasn't just a flash in the pan. We'd like to see them regain their spot on the P25 sooner rather than later.

OTHERS EARNING VOTES

The following Superstar(s) also received votes from members of The Academy:

Maryse - Maryse definitely caught our attention by securing the victory for her team in the Six-Diva Tag Match on SmackDown. If she keeps it up, we'll surely be seeing her on the P25 soon.

Rey Mysterio - As the first pick of the 2008 Draft, Mysterio ensured the fans that it would be an interesting night. With his return from injury imminent, we look forward to seeing the Ultimate Underdog work his in-ring magic on Raw.
