This Week Movement Superstar Last Week
1

UNDERTAKER (19)

Undertaker has left no doubt in our minds that he is a deserving World Heavyweight Champion. We are looking to see whether or not The Deadman will still reign with dominance after Backlash.

1
2

RANDY ORTON

Some say that Randy Orton stole the win from Triple H at WrestleMania. Some believe that he isn't a worthy champion. But nobody can deny that he still carries the gold. Will it still be so after Sunday?

2
3

TRIPLE H

The time seems ripe for the King of Kings to return to the top of Raw. The Game will be looking to walk out of Backlash with the WWE Championship around his waist once again.

3
4

EDGE

The Rated-R Superstar stepped back in the ring and picked up two big wins heading into his Backlash rematch. Will he follow those wins with a third on Sunday over Undertaker?

7
5

CM PUNK

The Straightedge Superstar couldn't seal the deal this week. He made it to the finals of the King of the Ring Tournament but left empty handed. He needs some big wins to show us WrestleMania wasn't a fluke.

4
6

SHAWN MICHAELS

HBK may move down on the P25, but he is definitely one up on Batista after SmackDown. The Heartbreak Kid is going into Backlash with the clear psychological advantage.

5
7

BATISTA

The Animal drops a spot this week after getting introduced to the band. The Animal missed his chance to regain the World Heavyweight Championship and that could be attributed to his war of words with HBK.

6
8

JOHN CENA

Cena returned to Raw this week in uncharacteristically unimpressive fashion. He was all talk but didn't back up his words as his team came up on the losing end of the Eight-Man Tag Team main event on Raw.

8
9

KANE

Things aren't looking up for the ECW Champion heading into Backlash. On Raw and ECW, the "familia" toppled him: Monday, Edge pinned him, then, on Tuesday, he suffered a five-on-one beat down.

9
10

CHAVO GUERRERO

The Mexican Warrior proved to be one up on Kane, again with the assistance of the "familia." Will Chavo have them at ringside Sunday to ensure a second reign as ECW Champion.

11
11

CHRIS JERICHO

Y2J falls out of the top ten this week with his semi-finals loss to CM Punk in the King of the Ring Tournament. What is really on the Academy's mind, though, is how Jericho will call the HBK/Batista match at Backlash.

10
12

BIG SHOW

Big Show had a quiet week but did come to the rescue of Finlay. We don't know if he meant to assist, but Khali was not staying around to ask the World's Largest Athlete his intentions.

12
13

MONTEL VONTAVIOUS PORTER

MVP and Matt Hardy were at each others throats once again on SmackDown as their reignited rivalry burns into Backlash. Can the Ballin' Superstar come out on top or will Hardy take his spot at the Playa's Table?

15
14

BETH PHOENIX

The Glamazon is still feeling the effects of Michelle McCool slapping the taste out of her mouth. We don't know if she has a mark on her face, but we do know that she drops another spot this week.

13
15

UMAGA

Umaga for president? We don't think so, but he did make easy work of the "candidates" to the approval of our fans. He might not be heading to Washington, but he is certainly heading towards the top of the P25.

17
16

FINLAY

Finlay drops a spot this week after an unimpressive representation in the King of the Ring Tournament. He made it to the semifinals but was easily beaten by Regal and drops two spots because of it.

14
17

KOFI KINGSTON

Kofi is certainly "Jamaican [us] crazy." With a big win this week over ECW's Gold Standard, the young Superstar continues his winning ways as well as his ascent up the P25.

18
18

JOHN MORRISON & THE MIZ

These two are certainly good at mocking people with "The Dirt Sheet," but we think that their two losses this week might be a sign that they should be training instead. If not, they may soon be without the gold.

16
19

MATT HARDY

Hardy suffered a tough loss against CM Punk in the first round of the King of the Ring Tournament, but with a U.S. Championship match at Backlash, we're certain he'll find his groove.

20
20

VLADIMIR KOZLOV

Another week, another cold victory. The Russian Superstar inched up a spot on the P25 thanks to continued dominance, but we would like to see how he measures up against a more high-caliber opponent.

21
21

WILLIAM REGAL

All bow down and welcome King Regal to the P25. Raw GM and King of the Ring are two titles that anyone would gladly carry, and he holds them both. Quite an impressive résumé, dost thou think?

NR
22

SHELTON BENJAMIN

Benjamin talked the talk before his match with Kofi Kingston on ECW. The Gold Standard didn't walk the walk, though, and proved to be just another victim in Kofi's undefeated streak.

19
23

JOHN "BRADSHAW" LAYFIELD

Losing ground going into Backlash is not a good sign, but if JBL can win the Fatal Four Way Match on Sunday, he will surely skyrocket up the P25 and leave all his doubters speechless.

22
24

MICKIE JAMES

Mickie's celebration on Raw was cut short by The Glamazon and her posse, but she didn't back down. She's prepped to show The Glamazon, and anyone else, why she is the new Women's Champion.

24
25

CARLITO & SANTINO MARELLA

This international duo has been on a roll as of late. Carlito picked up a win over Hardcore Holly and has us wondering if we are looking at the future World Tag Team Champions.

WHAT YOU'RE SAYING

"Edge and the 'familia' hits Kane with some low blows and he moves up? I see how it is, Academilia!" - Eddie
The Academy replies: Hey, he's the Ultimate Opportunist and he helped Chavo cash in on a major opportunity. It might have been a little low, but it's advantage "familia" going into Backlash.

"Bravo. William Regal has belonged on the P25 for some time." - Myra
The Academy replies: He's always contesting for a spot, but it's hard when the damage you cause isn't necessarily in the squared circle. This week, it was a no-brainer.

"Why is Undertaker racking in every single first place vote, lately? The Academy never agreed that much before." - Waldo
The Academy replies: There really isn't much to argue, lately. The Deadman has been hands-down the hottest Superstar since WrestleMania.

FAREWELL

The following Superstar(s) failed to maintain their position on the P25 this week:

Mr. Kennedy – The loudmouth from Green Bay, Wis. bids farewell to the P25. With his impending return this week on Raw, though, we believe that Mr. Kennedy will not be long off the P25.

The Great Khali – The Punjabi Giant falls off this week after a first round King of the Ring loss. Perhaps King Regal will knight him due to his weakening of Finlay, helping pave Regal's way.

OTHERS EARNING VOTES

The following Superstar(s) also received votes from members of the Academy:

Mike Knox - Knox didn't continue his winning ways this week, but he definitely kept himself in our minds as well as the mind of Tommy Dreamer.

Natalya - This young diva impressed us with her win over Cherry. We can definitely see her having a big impact on SmackDown.
